Homeschooling is hard. Maybe not so much the actual teaching that is involved, but the whole balancing of school and life. The everyday chores of cleaning, cooking, laundry, errands. It all has to get done. Some days we get everything done and other days I consider it a success if we get just one thing done.
Last night at my Tastefully Simple party, I shared with my guests that I'm a stay at home mom of four kids. "Wow, you have 4 kids." was the response. When I continued to share that I homeschool my children, a woman commented "You're a Proverbs 31 woman!" I told her that my desire is to be a Proverbs 31 woman, but it is a daily struggle. I continue to pray that God will mold me to be a woman after his heart, a Proverbs 31 woman/wife/mom.
