A Fresh New Start

Last Monday, July 15, we started our 2013-2014 school year. I can't believe that this will be our 4th year of homeschooling. Wow! Time sure flys by when your having fun.

This year we are.taking a different approach with our curriculum. I had been searching Pinterest for new ideas for school when I found an answer to a prayer. A free, Christian based complete curriculum online. Free!! All planned out, ready to go, did I mention FREE!

I'm excited about this new curriculum. Trevor has been learning about poetry and has written a few this week. Patrick, too, has been learning some poetry. Phillip's preschool curriculum has him learning a new letter each week. This past week was letter "A."

Steven and I still both feel that homeschooling our kids is something that God has called us to do. My prayer for this school year is that my boys will grow closer to God, grow together as brothers and grow in knowledge.

Up High, Look who's Five...months

Time has got to slow down, Annabelle is 5 months. Holy Moly!

We went yesterday to get the other shots she was needing from her four month appointment. She is still such a trooper when it comes to getting shots. She now weighs a whopping 17lbs and 10.5 oz.

Now for some more updates:

Annabelle has found her toes.

She loves oatmeal, pears and sweet potatoes.

Father's Day, June 16 was Annabelle's 1st time in the pool amd she absolutely loved it!!

She has also learned to roll over from her back to her tummy. I wish I could say that she likes to be on her tummy but she still doesn't.
