Who knew a small piece of luggage would make me happy. For our flight from Raleigh to Boston, our carry on bags were checked at the gate because it was such a small plane. Our bags were tagged and we were given a pink ticket so we could retrieve our bag. My carry on bag is sorta bright blue color and looks like a backpack on wheels. I thought my bag was pretty unique and probably not a very common bag. Well apparently someone else thought the same thing. When we landed in Boston, I saw a woman grab my bag and give it to her son. I asked her if she was sure that was his because I had the same bag. She said yes. I got the other blue bag and immediately checked the tag. It was NOT my bag. So so so happy I did. She had given him my bag without checking the tag. Luckily he didn't go far and I was able to get my bag. This would have been a very interesting trip since the majority of my clothes and personal items were in that bag.
I am looking forward to see what God is going to do thru me during this mission trip! Thank you to all of you who have been praying for me and continuing to pray for me while I am gone. I can feel the prayers!
Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you. Psalm 86:4.

8 days.....
It is hard to believe that's all the time left. 8 days. 8 days before I embark on what I can only imagine will be a life changing trip. If you would have asked me several years ago if I wanted to go Ukraine on a mission trip, I probably would have said no. I fact I know I would have said no. But God changed my heart.
Yesterday we had a commissioning service for the team that is going to Ukraine. Deep breath. I'm going to Ukraine. Wow! I still can't believe that God has called me to go. Me. To go to Ukraine to use my gifts to glorify Christ, to share my faith boldly with whoever God puts in my path.
